Vintage Truck Season! (Acrylic Painting )

Warmer months bring sightings of Sweetwater Flower Market’s signature vintage trucks full of flowers at the Old Colorado City Farmers Market and around town. Bring on the nostalgia as we learn to paint with brushes and palette knives to make a replica of Sallie May, a truck named after the owner Kristyn’s grandmother.

For beginners, no experience needed!

Make your art come alive as you add texture and depth to your painting using modeling paste to enhance the flowers. Come join local artist Tyler Dixon as he teaches you how to paint with the spirit of an impressionist in a relaxed atmosphere.

Cost: $55/person + tax and Eventbrite fee

Tyler Dixon is a fine art muralist who has been instructing painting classes for 9 years. Tyler has been featured in Colorado Springs Parade of Homes 2021 and Colorado Springs Lifestyle Magazine March 2022. You can find his murals in every Sweetwater Flower Market location in town!
