Baguette Size (42oz) Dough Bowl Candle Workshop

Join Jenny from Moonchild Candle and Sweetwater Flower Market for a personalized workshop teaching you how to craft unique and clean-burning candles. Learn from Jenny’s years of study and experience as she launches you on your own candle-making journey.

Make a statement piece for your entryway or a special place in your house. This 6-wick candle will be custom designed the hand carved wood dough bowl, to the scent, and type of wick. Perfect for a sideboard, dinner or coffee table.

Registration includes all materials needed to create this unique and luminous candle. All materials will be provided to make your very own hand poured soy candle. Jenny specializes in hand poured, 100% soy wax candles, that are non-toxic. Each candle is infused with essential oils, and premium fragrance oil that is certified free of harmful chemicals, reproductive toxins, allergens or phthalates.

Baguette bowl is hand carved and holds approximately 42oz of soy wax. Please plan to leave your candle overnight to cure, and pick up the following day.

You will be asked to select your scent, so please review the following scent descriptions.

Scent Descriptions:

Pumpkin Spice- Pumpkin Spice is a sophisticated fall fragrance with an invigorating spice flourish.
Fragrant top notes of cinnamon, nutmeg, and orange peel intermingle with the clove and black tea.
Baked pumpkin makes up the heart of the fragrance, while vanilla and graham cracker base notes add a
creamy, toasty character. Transport yourself to a crisp Autumn Day with the swirling spices of Pumpkin
Spice. Happy Fall Y’all!

Home for the Holidays- Have you ever hiked out into the winter woods to cut your own Christmas tree?
The Home for the Holidays makes you feel like you just did! More complex than a traditional Douglas Fir,
this fragrance has a bright, punchy character that truly captures the spirit of the holiday season.

Colorado Trail- Colorado Trail soy candle is a refined blend of botanical gin and aged woods. A juniper
top note gives this light-bodied spirit its signature aroma. Red currant adds a hint of fruit, leading to a

essential oils, including cinnamon and clove. If you like classic bakery scents, this candle is sure to
please. 

Apple Harvest- Apple Harvest soy candle is a true, ripe apple fragrance combined with bright fruit notes
and a subtle touch of spice. A mix of Macintosh sweet and granny smith tart. It has year-round appeal
but is especially nice around apple-picking time and the harvest season. Apple Harvest is scent you didn’t know you needed but can’t live without in August & September. 

Gingerbread Cookies- Gingerbread Cookie soy wax candle is a perfectly balanced combination of
classic gingerbread cookies and vanilla frosting. This nostalgic fragrance is a treat for kids of all ages.
Notes of ginger, cream, butter, and graham cracker come through right away, while the familiar aromas

Artist Bio: Jenny is the owner of Moonchild Candle Co. and specializes in making high-quality, naturally sourced, non-toxic, essential oil-infused, soy wax candles. After learning about all the toxins found in most commercially produced candles, she started on a her journey to make a better, certified clean burning candle.

Jenny continues to work full-time as a school administrator in D20 and has spent the past 20 years working in local Colorado Springs school districts. As an avid self-care junkie, Jenny believes that candles are an essential part of a robust self-care space.

Jenny hand pours her candles in the comfort of her home candle studio…as she tries to balance all the things.
