Craft and Create in a Watercolor Journal

The vistas of the Front Range from the Sweetwater Studio are truly inspiring! We’ll construct an accordian fold watercolor journal, then paint the view of Pikes Peak after we learn watercolor techniques using fall themes to practice. You’ll be able to use your new skills in your journal or on a separate piece of paper. You’ll leave with at least one painting in your journal or on a separate sheet, (you choose) as well as a practice sheet, and the ability to fill your journal with watercolor sketches.

All artist quality supplies for the session are included.

Beginners welcome! Lisa loves to introduce people to using watercolors and will walk you through the whole process whether you have some experience or are completely new to watercolors.

All materials are included, including highest quality paints and paper.

Instructor Bio: Lisa loves to share the joy and peace she experiences through art. Her degree in environmental policy, along with her art studies at the San Francisco Academy of Art, UC Davis and most currently, the Denver School of Botanical Art and Illustration has equipped her with the skills to create and teach in many mediums. She continues to make discoveries about the world by drawing and painting when traveling, hiking or enjoying her garden.
