Craft and Create in a Watercolor Journal

We will construct an accordion watercolor journal using high quality paper for the pages and a choice of paper covering cardboard for the cover. (Cover, 4×6”, pages, 3 3/4”x 5 1/2”) Then, after some watercolor exercises, we will paint a page or two of flowers or leaves to include in our journal or as separate pieces. These journals make great gifts or as a wonderful way to record everyday wonders or adventures.

Beginners welcome! Lisa loves to introduce people to using watercolors and will walk you through the whole process whether you have some experience or are completely new to watercolors.

All materials are included, including highest quality paints and paper.

Instructor Bio: Lisa loves to share the joy and peace she experiences through art. Her degree in environmental policy, along with her art studies at the San Francisco Academy of Art, UC Davis and most currently, the Denver School of Botanical Art and Illustration has equipped her with the skills to create and teach in many mediums. She continues to make discoveries about the world by drawing and painting when traveling, hiking or enjoying her garden.
