Summertime Wine Pairing with Light Apps

Ever arrived at a party and been asked what wine you would like to drink and been unsure what you like, or are baffled by the names on the menu? Hosting an event and want to know what wines to buy or how to provide the perfect pairing for your cheese board or meal? Standing in the wine or cheese section at a store can be so overwhelming.

Think of this evening as a garden party with friends. Join Sweetwater and Joy Barthelmes for an Intro to Wine Pairing with fun summer appetizers. In April we learned all the subtle ins and outs of white and red wines. In May we learned about bubbly wines, rose’ and the cheeses that make them shine. Now enjoy an evening of summer wines, fun nibble appetizers, and great company as you gain the skills to be at ease at your next party or the next time you host.

Long Summer days are great for cocktail and wine parties. Impress your family and friends with the skills you learn from this Summertime wine pairing class.

• 4 Wines (2oz pour each) and a glass pour of your favorite wine you tasted towards the conclusion of the class.
• Summertime Appetizers to pair with wines, and fruits & cheeses.
• Instruction and Q/A on the art of pairing wine with food.
• Printed notes on wines and pairings to take home.
• A fun evening with friends and people from your community!

Instructor Bio:

California girl, who loves wine and now lives in Beautiful Colorado! Growing up in California and being able to travel some of the best wines around, I became a wine snob. I loved drinking big, bold cabs, but hated the headaches, hangovers, and acid reflux from most big reds. I started drinking Scout & Cellar, clean-crafted wine 3 years ago and have never looked back. Scout & Cellar was founded in 2017 by Sarah Shadonix, another wine lover and former lawyer. Our commitment is to bring you clean wine that is sustainably grown in healthy soil, no artificial processing aids or added sugars, independently lab tested to meet high standards, and taste great to do better for our planet and improve the way we live.
