Spring Felt Violet Pots
May 9 @ 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm$50.00
“The earth laughs in flowers.” Ralph Waldo Emerson
Immerse yourself in spring and learn how to make a sweet little felted violet, nestled in a terracotta pot. For this class, we will be snipping wool-blend felt sheets, gluing and arranging the cutest little flowerpots.
No special skills are needed, and you will make the perfect gift, just in time for Mother’s Day. Better yet, take the class with your Mom or any special ladies in your life!
All supplies are included, and the project will be done at the end of the class.
Tickets cost: $50/person + tax and EventBrite fees
*Children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult who is also taking the class.
Class will be led by Tracey Mullis from The Felted Dog. Tracey, a retired elementary school art teacher from Pueblo, is a prolific crocheter and felter. She has been making amazing purse designs on the fly for over 12 years. In 2020, she needed a change during all those extra hours at home and discovered a new way to work with wool: felt-sheet flowers. A new passion was ignited and today she has over 25 varieties of felt flowers in rotation of creations. She has taught fiber art classes at Sneffels Fiber Festival and at her shop and maker’s space, CoLLECTIVE, in Pueblo, CO.
*No cancellations or refunds will be accepted but if you are unable to make it, we will allow your spot to be transferred to someone else with 48 hrs notice. Thank you for your understanding.
