Rain Gardens

Learn the how to design your garden to prevent runoff and use rainwater.

Have you ever thought about creating a rain garden in your landsape? A rain garden is a garden that lies below the level of its surroundings, designed to absorb rainwater that runs off of a surface such as a patio or roof.

The speaker for this class is Joan Nusbaum. Joan joined El Paso County Extension as a Colorado Master Gardener volunteer in 2004. She loves the science of gardening and helping others learn how to have an enjoyable and successful experience in their own gardens.

This class will be recorded and a link sent to you if you are unable to watch it live. An email will be sent to all registered participants 15-20 minutes before the event with a Zoom link to attend the class. The Zoom link will also be in your confirmation email after registering.
