Pressed Flower Art on Aprons

February 7 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm

$55.00
Bring the beauty of fresh flowers inside by dying an apron with the imprint of arranged blooms.

Hammered Flower Art is an ancient Cherokee technique used to dye fabric or paper. Join us for a unique experience as you work with fresh floral to make an apron reflecting the natural beauty of your favorite flowers.

Participants will choose from a variety of fresh blooms to use to practice this technique. You will arrange the flowers in a design and imprint them on an apron using a hammer and wax paper.

Aprons make a great gift, or an item for your own house to make memories while doing creative projects or spending time making something fabulous in the kitchen.

Instructor Bio: Abigail Leger’s love for beauty and creating started at a young age as her mother sewed, and planned community events for children and adults. She majored in Education and minored in Studio Art at Taylor University with training in watercolor, drawing, painting, ceramics, photography, acrylic, and cooking. Colorful things are her love language. One of her mottoes is “Everything’s better when shared.”

No cancellations or refunds will be accepted but if you are unable to make it, I will allow your spot to be transferred to someone else with 48 hours notice. Thank you for your understanding.
