October 2022 – Value of Space Summit

Join us at the 3rd Space Information Sharing and Analysis Center (Space ISAC) Value of Space Summit, co-hosted by The Aerospace Corporation, on October 18-20, 2022, in Colorado Springs, CO.

The Space ISAC is the primary communication channel for the commercial space sector to collaboratively identify vulnerabilities, incidents, and threats and respond with timely, actionable information. The third annual Value of Space Summit will support this mission through diverse programming covering high-level topics for general attendees as well as a series of invite-only, deep-dive roundtables for Space ISAC members and partners.

Our inaugural event in 2020 drew nearly 300 registrants. Last year, approximately 450 attendees joined virtually.

We are looking to grow the profile well beyond that with a fresh theme for this year: Sustaining the Value of Space. The theme weaves throughout the panels, presentations, exercises/demos, and roundtables that we have curated for this year’s agenda, focusing on how the space community must coordinate and act on technical, security, and policy topics to secure the resilience, viability, and sustainability value of the space economy. Within the industry, the term “sustainable” or “sustainability” has been largely used in the context of space traffic management, but the Space ISAC and The Aerospace Corporation aims to provide another perspective to address sustaining the value of space in terms of five categories: security, financial, policy, resources, and technology.

The summit is broken down into three (3) days worth of programmed events.
