Native Plant Propagation – IN PERSON

Propagating native plant species can be challenging for home growers. Learn methods of stratification and scarification and how to know if a seed needs pre-treatment. We will also address basics of vegetation propagation including how to grow plants from cuttings and how to use air-layering techniques.
This class is IN PERSON at the CSU Extension El Paso County Office.
The instructor for this class is Allisa Linfield. Allisa is the Horticulture Program Coordinator for CSU Extension El Paso County. Allisa is also a graduate student at Colorado State University researching nursery container production of native plants.
