Gardening in Colorado for Newcomers

January 17 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

$5.00
Welcome to Colorado! Learn how to keep your garden alive in Colorado’s unique climate.

Colorado has a challenging climate for gardening – including weather swings, dry winters, a short growing season, hail, and more. Daunting as this may seem, it is still possible to have a thriving garden, if you know what to do.

The instructor for this class is Dr. Irene Shonle. Irene is the Horticulture Extension Specialist for El Paso County Extension.

This class will be recorded and a link sent to you if you are unable to watch it live. An email will be sent to all registered participants 15-20 minutes before the event with a Zoom link to attend the class. The Zoom link will also be in your confirmation email after registering.
