Foundational Songwriting Summer Camp

Age Range: Foundational – Entering 6th – 8th Grade
Lead Mentors: John Rot and Alex Koshak
Calling all up-and-coming songwriters! Join us for the best week of your summer! Over five days, students will dive into lyric writing, storytelling, chord progressions and melodies, and learn how to combine all of these into the best song possible. This is the perfect time to write your first song, or your 100th! With the help of our Mentors, students will write an original song which they will perform on the last day of camp. Students will leave camp with a high quality live recording of their performance. No musical experience necessary. Final Performance Friday, June 5 at 11:30am in the Recital Hall.
