Flowers fade away, but paintings never do. Join us in learning to paint a gorgeous arrangement of flowers to fill your house with beauty all year long. Learn to paint three-dimensional art by using a pallet knife to achieve texture and depth in your design.
For beginners, no experience needed!
Make your art come alive as you add texture and depth to your painting using Impasto style painting with the textured relief effect of a Monet or Van Gogh. This class will focus on pallet knife painting techniques and how to use mediums to thicken acrylics to create landscape art with only the use of pallet knives. Come join local artist Tyler Dixon as he teaches you how to paint with the spirit of an impressionist in a relaxed atmosphere.

Tyler Dixon is a fine art muralist who has been instructing painting classes for 9 years. Tyler has been featured in Colorado Springs Parade of Homes 2021 and Colorado Springs Lifestyle Magazine March 2022. You can find his murals in every Sweetwater Flower Market location in town!
