Easter Themed Candle in a Keepsake Wood Dough Bowl

Join Moonchild for another candle making workshop to usher in the start of spring. Custom pour your own Moonchild Candle in the shape of a bunny or egg. The vessel is hand carved from wood, and safe to use for candles. Registration includes all materials needed to create this unique and luminous Easter shaped candle. Select your scent of choice and comes with cotton wicks. Wood wicks are not available for this candle project. Egg or Easter Bunny bowl holds approximately 15-20oz of soy wax. Please plan to leave your candle overnight to cure, and pick up the following day.

Spring & Summer Scent Descriptions:

Summer Solstice- The fresh citrus aroma with green undertones gives the Summer Solstice candle a true-to-life characteristic that’s ideal for those searching for a bright citrus with hints of bergamot & grapefruit fuse with an herbal bouquet.

Island Vibes- an explosion of tropical fruits and rum blended into an irresistible summer drink. This fruity scent begins with ripe pineapple, orange, and apple for a super juicy first impression. Middle notes of succulent melon and creamy coconut add to the beachy aroma, while light jasmine notes give it a subtle floral quality. The rum base note turns this fruity fusion into a cocktail with a touch of vanilla that rounds out this delicious fragrance. Orange essential oil ensures the citrus element permeates throughout the scent.

Coconut & Lime- The ultimate summer refresher – zesty lime and creamy coconut make this classic scent irresistible. This scent will literally transport you far away with the intoxicating aromas. If you LOVE coconut smelling things….this scent is for you.

Orchid & Sea Salt- Crisp ozonic notes of sea salt right out of the container, then calming notes of jasmine, lily of the valley, and tonka bean take hold. This scent has year-round soft floral appeal. This fragrance is infused with natural essential oils, including orange oil.

Lilac- Captures the serene beauty of a field of lilacs in peak bloom. Notes of green leaves, lily of the valley, and honeysuckle blossoms enhance the alluring bouquet of French lilacs. Clean powder and woody amyris round out this floral scent with a soft, romantic touch. This scent is a true to life, pure lilac aroma.

Peppermint & Eucalyptus- Peppermint and Eucalyptus fragrance blends sweet peppermint with tingly, earthy eucalyptus for a refreshing spa-like scent. Hints of cedarwood add depth that make this a perfect year-round fragrance. This fragrance oil is infused with natural essential oils, including eucalyptus oil

Bohemian Mystic- The ultimate blend of fruit and floral. It starts with top notes of apple, luscious peach, and ripe grapefruit that give way to beautiful middle notes of cherry blossom and hydrangea. The vanilla and hint of powder in the base balance the sweetness of the fragrance. This classic scent is an easy way to bring a sweet floral into any space

Pacific Coast- A refined, ozonic freshness to any space. This clean scent starts with top notes of ozone and crisp linen. Eucalyptus and freesia complement the sea salt core of this fragrance. A touch of powder in the base keeps this scent light and airy, while moss adds an earthy, green depth. Sangria- fresh take on a classic sangria scent, with a medley of muddled fruit. Kick back and unwind with the refreshing aroma of this summertime favorite. Top notes of bright lemon and lime blend with a medley of apple, orange, pineapple, and raspberry. Middle notes of red wine with a splash of chardonnay turns this juice into a cocktail. A woody oak base note adds a lovely depth that balances the wine and fruit aromas in this realistic scent.

Artist Bio: Jenny is the owner of Moonchild Candle Co. and specializes in making high-quality, naturally sourced, non-toxic, essential oil-infused, soy wax candles. After learning about all the toxins found in most commercially produced candles, she started on a her journey to make a better, certified clean burning candle.

Jenny continues to work full-time as a school administrator in D20 and has spent the past 20 years working in local Colorado Springs school districts. As an avid self-care junkie, Jenny believes that candles are an essential part of a robust self-care space.
