Aspens: Love ’em but leave ’em

October 4, 2023 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Aspens are one of Colorado’s most loved trees, but they can cause problems when planted in the home landscape.

If you’ve considered planting an aspen tree (Populus tremuloides) in your yard, you’ve likely already been cautioned against it. But why are they not suited to our home landscapes? Join Colorado Master Gardener Billy as he discusses the problems that aspens face in home landscapes and what suitable alternatives are out there.

This class will be recorded and a link sent to you if you are unable to watch it live. An email will be sent to all registered participants 15-20 minutes before the event with a Zoom link to attend the class. The Zoom link will also be in your confirmation email after registering.
