2024 Fall Colorado 4-H Horse Judges Certification Course

New and prospective judges with less experience are welcome to attend to further their education. However, a more in-depth program may be needed for such individuals to become proficient enough to judge shows.

This couse will be a virtual event occuring on BOTH nights. November 12th and 14th from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Cost for the course is $50 per attendee and includes fulll certification with test. A digital copy of the Colorado State 4-H Horse Rule Book will be sent on registration and a hard copy will be mailed once it is finalized. Also, a copy of the Judging Manual will be sent out digitally.

To audit the course (without certification) the cost is $30 which will include the Colorado State 4-H Horse Rule Book and Judging Manual. Rule Book and Manual will be shipped to the participant’s home address.

For the course, it is HIGHLY recommended to have access to a computer or laptop to complete the certification. Based on previous feedback, the use of a phone or tablet is limiting when trying to view classes as or when accessing attachments.
