Live bands will provide the perfect soundtrack\, while some of the area’s favorite food trucks serve up mouthwatering bites. As guests explore the zoo\, they’ll have the opportunity to enjoy great drinks\, experience unique animal encounters\, and embrace the lively atmosphere that makes this event a community favorite. \nBrew at the Zoo\, presented by Premier Members Credit Union\, isn’t just about great brews—it’s also about supporting wildlife conservation and education. Proceeds from the event help Pueblo Zoo continue its mission of connecting people with nature and inspiring the next generation of conservationists. Back by popular demand is the VIP ticket\, sponsored by Renewal by Andersen. VIP’s enjoy early entry to the festivities and special swag bag full of goodies. \nTicket info:  \nVIP tickets are $80 for zoo members; $90 for non-members and quantities are limited. General Admission tickets are $35 for members; $45 for non-members. Designated Driver tickets are $20 for members; $30 for non-members. Must be 21+ to purchase tickets and attend. This event occurs rain or shine. Tickets are non-transferrable and non-refundable. NO children\, strollers or pets are allowed.

DESCRIPTION:Join us from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm to celebrates another strong American icon – the American bison. Bison played a significant role in the grasslands ecosystem\, Native American culture\, and the story of the American West. In 2016\, the National Bison Legacy Act was signed into law\, officially making the American bison the national mammal of the United States. This majestic animal joins the ranks of the bald eagle as the official symbol of our country – and much like the eagle\, it’s one of the greatest conservation success stories of all time. In less than a century\, the great bison herds of North America were nearly driven to extinction solely by the actions of humans during the westward expansion of European settlement in the 19th century. Though their population dramatically dropped from 40 million to under 1\,000\, concerted conservation efforts have thankfully brought the population back up to over 500\,000. Pueblo Zoo supports the Laramie Hills Bison Conservation Herd and their efforts to return this native icon to the shortgrass prairie of northern Colorado. Pueblo Zoo is currently home to two majestic male bison – Father\, Cody and son\, CJ (Cody Jr.). \nCrafts\, educational presentations\, conservation action activities\, and a visit from Wilder with GOCO\, will be presented just outside the bison viewing area at the back of the zoo. Visitors will receive a bison bookmark and temporary tattoo while supplies last. Stop by and help the Pueblo Zoo support this iconic species! \nZoo admission required.
