Project\n— Apple Preservation 🍎 Planting 🍎 Land Education —\n \nApple Preservation\nPlant a Tree\, Cultivate Knowledge\, Harvest a Legacy\nIf you participated in this class in 2025\, you should not register for the 2026 class.  It is a repeat of the 2025 class. \nPreserving apples is a time-honored tradition that connects seasonal abundance to year-round nourishment. In this hands-on workshop\, you’ll learn practical techniques for safely preserving apples at home\, including water bath canning and discussion of freezing and dehydration. \nIn partnership between the El Paso County Conservation District and Colorado State University Extension\, this class supports the revival of Colorado’s historic fruit tree culture while promoting sustainable land stewardship and water conservation. \n______________________________________________________________________________________________________ \nLed by CSU Extension educators\, this class is designed for small acreage landowners\, backyard growers\, and anyone participating in the A.P.P.L.E.
