SUMMARY:Auditions: Sweeney Todd – The Demon Barber of Fleet Street
DESCRIPTION:Colorado Springs Conservatory is holding auditions for its 2026 Summer Musical Theatre Intensive production of Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street. \nPlease prepare a 32 bar selection of a musical theatre song\, memorized with sheet music for the music director\, as well as a short (under two minute) monologue\, also memorized. A resume and headshot is encouraged but not required. All roles are open to all students regardless of gender\, race\, ethnicity\, disability\, and sexual orientation. \nThe Musical Theatre Intensive runs July 6 through August 2 and includes four weeks of acting classes and performances. \nStudents interested in orchestra or technical positions should contact Nathan Halvorson at nhalvorson@csconservatory.org. \nAbout The Colorado Springs Conservatory:\nThe Colorado Springs Conservatory is the region’s premiere multidisciplinary performing arts school\, offering an inclusive\, joyful environment where students of all ages study music\, theatre\, and recording arts with professional mentors.
