SUMMARY:Spring Fling Fundraiser
DESCRIPTION:Celebrate the arrival of spring with an evening of music\, community and support for the vocal arts at the Pikes Peak Opera League Spring Fling Fundraiser on Wednesday\, April 8 from 5:00–8:00 p.m. at The Pinery at the Hill in downtown Colorado Springs. \nThis lively annual event brings together arts supporters for an intimate performance featuring soprano Kate Johnson\, baritone Chad Reagan\, and collaborating pianist Christy Vest. Together\, these accomplished musicians will present a program of beloved vocal works in a warm and welcoming setting. \nGuests will enjoy a delicious appetizer buffet\, the chance to connect with fellow music lovers\, and a memorable evening celebrating the power of live performance. Beverages will be available for purchase. \nProceeds from the Spring Fling Fundraiser will benefit PPOL’s Scholarship Fund. \nTickets are $75 for PPOL members and $85 for nonmembers and may be purchased online. Space is limited\, and early reservations are encouraged. Registration closes and all ticket payments must be collected by April 3rd. \nThe event is generously sponsored by The Disque Family Foundation\, Doug and Dianne Herzberg\, Sally Sharpe\, Nicole de Naray\, Sue Anselmi\, and Mary Koepp. \nAbout the Pikes Peak Opera League – Pikes Peak Opera League’s mission is to promote knowledge and appreciation of opera\, musical theatre and vocal arts\, to encourage and support aspiring and professional opera and musical theatre artists\, and to support Opera Theatre of the Rockies and other regional opera\, classical and vocal arts organizations.
