SUMMARY:In Harmony Festival Concert
DESCRIPTION:Young voices. One stage. A shared experience you won’t forget. \nThe Colorado Springs Children’s Chorale invites you to the In Harmony Festival Concert—a powerful celebration of music\, community\, and the transformative impact of singing together. \nOn April 22 at the Pikes Peak Center\, students from across the Pikes Peak region will come together for an evening that reflects months of dedication\, collaboration\, and growth. Representing schools from across the region and joined by members of the Children’s Chorale\, these young performers take the stage not just as individuals—but as a unified\, inspired ensemble. \nUnder the direction of Festival Conductor and Artistic Director Lori Bammesberger\, this culminating performance showcases the depth\, discipline\, and artistry that music education makes possible\, bringing together 10 area choirs in a special collaboration with the Ovation Orchestra of the Colorado Springs Youth Symphony. Guest conductor Kobe Achu\, Cadet First Class and Cadet Choir Director at the U.S. Air Force Academy\, will lead O America as part of the program. The concert features Amazing by Pinkzebra\, alongside America the Beautiful and O America\, honoring our nation’s 250th anniversary and lifting up a message of hope through the voices of the next generation. \nMore than a concert\, In Harmony is a reflection of what happens when young people are given the opportunity to grow together—through three days of workshops\, rehearsals\, and shared purpose. As a cornerstone outreach program of the Children’s Chorale\, the festival creates space for connection\, confidence\, and community across schools and backgrounds. \nJoin us for an evening that celebrates the art of singing—and the power of young voices to bring people together.

SUMMARY:EPIC Season Finale: Charlibean
DESCRIPTION:Concert pianist Andrew Staupe reunites with the EPIC Wind Quintet for the season finale of EPIC Concerts. Together as “Charlibean\,” this all-star ensemble performs Beethoven’s Wind Quintet and Farrenc’s Sextet for an intimate evening of world-class chamber music.  \nAs with all EPIC concerts\, audiences are invited to engage directly with the artists during a post-concert Q&A—offering insight into the music\, the process\, and the performers themselves. \nMusicians: Rachel Childers (horn)\, Joshua Elmore (bassoon)\, Charlibean Noah Kay (oboe)\, Jessica Petrasek (flute)\, Andrew Staupe (piano)\, Sergei Vassiliev (clarinet) \nAbout EPIC: At EPIC Concerts (Education • Partnerships • Immersive Concerts)\, we bring world-class chamber music to Colorado Springs—melding national-level masters with outstanding local talent. By collaborating with arts and educational institutions\, we cultivate innovative performances that elevate our community’s cultural presence and connect audiences with music in meaningful ways. More than just concerts\, EPIC strives to create warm\, welcoming experiences: patrons interact with musicians before\, during\, and after performances\, making every show feel like a gathering of friends and family. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit\, we are dedicated to enriching lives through artistic excellence\, educational outreach\, and a deep commitment to community.
