DESCRIPTION:Honoring those who serve to protect\, we are hosting our seventh annual “Law Enforcement Appreciation Day” 1m\, 5K\, 10K\, 13.1\, and 26.2\n\n\n*SIGN UP NOW FOR $16 INSTEAD OF THE REGULAR $18! \nJoin our Facebook Community of more than 23\,000 members HERE!  \nHonoring those who serve to protect\, we are hosting our seventh annual “Law Enforcement Appreciation Day” 1m\, 5K\, 10K\, 13.1\, and 26.2 mile races. National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day is January 9th\, 2022 and we invite you to complete your race anytime in 2022! \nYou choose the time\, the course\, and the pace to complete your virtual race \nCan be completed any time in 2022! \nAt least 15% of race entry fees will be donated to Concerns of Police Survivors \nIn light of recent negativity directed toward law enforcement nationally\, there is now a need to show law enforcement officers that our citizens recognize the difficult and sometimes impossible career they have chosen in public service to us all. If you want to show support to law enforcement\, our virtual races are a great way to do so. With different race distances to choose from\, there is a way for everyone to support the authorities. Whether you choose to run or walk\, run outside or on a treadmill— the choice is yours! How do our virtual races benefit law enforcement? At least 15 percent of each entry fee will be donated to Concerns of Police Survivors\, an organization that partners with law enforcement and communities to help survivors and co-workers affected by line of duty deaths. \nRace entry fee: $18 (includes a medal\, bib\, and 15% donated to C.O.P.S.) \nThe “Law Enforcement Appreciation Day” race packages will start shipping out December 15th 2021\, after that they will ship out 2 to 5 days after signing up. \nWhat is a virtual race? A virtual race is a race that can be run (or walked) from any location you choose. You can run\, jog\, or walk on the road\, on the trail\, on the treadmill\, at the gym or on the track (or even at another race). You get to run your own race\, at your own pace\, and time it yourself. Running and walking on your own\, or with friends! And your medal will be shipped directly to you. Complete a virtual 5Ks\, 10K\, half marathon and more! Each of our races benefits a different charity. We’ve already raised more than $892\,045 for charities from running events on this website! We are making a difference…one race at a time.

Roxy has been teaching classes for over 15 years and has taught in Florida\, Minnesota and all over Colorado. Her style is light and whimsical with a soft vintage vibe\, Each project she enjoys is filled with layers of script\, paint\, paper\, clay\,stamps  and even plaster. She truly loves teaching others how to let go of perfection and enjoy being loose in their expression . For this class\, we will be snipping wool-blend felt sheets\, gluing and arranging the cutest little flowerpots.    \nNo special skills are needed\, and you will make the perfect gift\, just in time for Mother’s Day.  Better yet\, take the class with your Mom or any special ladies in your life! \nAll supplies are included\, and the project will be done at the end of the class. \nTickets cost: $50/person + tax and EventBrite fees \n \n*Children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult who is also taking the class.  \n\n\nInstructor bio:  \nClass will be led by Tracey Mullis from The Felted Dog.  Tracey\, a retired elementary school art teacher from Pueblo\, is a prolific crocheter and felter.  She has been making amazing purse designs on the fly for over 12 years.  In 2020\, she needed a change during all those extra hours at home and discovered a new way to work with wool:  felt-sheet flowers.  A new passion was ignited and today she has over 25 varieties of felt flowers in rotation of creations.
