National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day is January 9th\, 2022 and we invite you to complete your race anytime in 2022! \nYou choose the time\, the course\, and the pace to complete your virtual race \nCan be completed any time in 2022! \nAt least 15% of race entry fees will be donated to Concerns of Police Survivors \nIn light of recent negativity directed toward law enforcement nationally\, there is now a need to show law enforcement officers that our citizens recognize the difficult and sometimes impossible career they have chosen in public service to us all. If you want to show support to law enforcement\, our virtual races are a great way to do so. With different race distances to choose from\, there is a way for everyone to support the authorities. Whether you choose to run or walk\, run outside or on a treadmill— the choice is yours! How do our virtual races benefit law enforcement? At least 15 percent of each entry fee will be donated to Concerns of Police Survivors\, an organization that partners with law enforcement and communities to help survivors and co-workers affected by line of duty deaths. \nRace entry fee: $18 (includes a medal\, bib\, and 15% donated to C.O.P.S.) \nThe “Law Enforcement Appreciation Day” race packages will start shipping out December 15th 2021\, after that they will ship out 2 to 5 days after signing up. \nWhat is a virtual race? A virtual race is a race that can be run (or walked) from any location you choose. You can run\, jog\, or walk on the road\, on the trail\, on the treadmill\, at the gym or on the track (or even at another race). You get to run your own race\, at your own pace\, and time it yourself. Running and walking on your own\, or with friends! And your medal will be shipped directly to you. Complete a virtual 5Ks\, 10K\, half marathon and more! Each of our races benefits a different charity. We’ve already raised more than $892\,045 for charities from running events on this website! We are making a difference…one race at a time.

Roxy has been teaching classes for over 15 years and has taught in Florida\, Minnesota and all over Colorado. Her style is light and whimsical with a soft vintage vibe\, Each project she enjoys is filled with layers of script\, paint\, paper\, clay\,stamps  and even plaster. She truly loves teaching others how to let go of perfection and enjoy being loose in their expression . DESCRIPTION:Start you own home business with the Cottage Foods Food Safety Certification!\n\n\nThis training provides a 3-year certification and meets the food safety training requirement for the Colorado Cottage Foods Act established and supported by the Colorado State Dept. of Health & Environment. \nParticipants learn food safety guidelines and the specifics for operating a small home-based cottage food business from a home kitchen. Learn about the most current Colorado Cottage Food Act.  \nThe main sections of the training cover food safety guidelines for preparing foods in a home kitchen which is different from a food service site that would be inspected by the County and/or State Health Depts.  We cover the basics of proper hygiene; preventing cross-contamination and cross-contact of food allergens; temperature control for safe food preparation\, storage\, transporting produce and sales. The allowable food products are highlighted with CSU Extension fact sheets provided for each food product allowed.  Then instructors go into product ingredient labeling\, packaging requirements\, marketing\, preparation at altitude and for going further with your business. \nAll of the participants that pass the test receive a CSU Extension Cottage Food Safety certificate to post for customers to see.    \nPre-registration required.
