Susan Tormoen: Fun with Oil and Pastel
May 2 @ 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Cottonwood Center for the Arts is pleased to announce a solo exhibition by artist Susan Tormoen for the month of May: Fun with Oil and Pastel.
Tormoen is a local creative who specializes in expressive oil and pastel works, often forgoing the paint brush in favor of the palette knife. With deliberate bold strokes and masterful color mixing, Tormoen’s depictions of the world around her are both representative and fanciful, drawing the viewer in with delightful hues and movement.
From the artist: Something fresh and new with a variety of techniques and subjects. Simulation of nature, which can make a room warm, no matter what its shape or dimension. Not to destroy or take away from the old, but to add to it with new ideas and concepts.
Come experience this exhibit and enjoy two floors of open studios + galleries this First Friday from 5-8 pm, and all month during normal business hours.
