Pick and Pot a Plant: Houseplants 101

Imagine your home as a garden oasis…..Ah, so lovely. Perhaps for some of you, all your houseplant dreams have come true! For others, it can be quite difficult to choose a plant that suits your lifestyle (can we say pets anyone?), the sun in your house, or even knowing how and when to water the plant to keep it alive.

Enter Beth and Geanine, two best friends who happen to love plants and decided to share their love and knowledge with Colorado Springs. Join us for a workshop in Houseplants 101. You will have the opportunity to choose from 2 or 3 plants, a pot, and get a lesson in giving your plant a good start in life through the potting process. Beth and Geanine will also take some time to share verbally and through a handout about basic house plant care, and you will have an opportunity to ask them all your plant care questions.

Workshop Fee: $45/person

Workshop includes:

• A seat in our gorgeous studio
• A brand new plant for your home
• A sweet pot to plant it in
• Potting soil and instruction on potting your plant
• Instruction on plant care with a handout
• Q/A about plant care questions
• A fun shared experience with new and old friends!

Cancellation Policy:

No cancellations or refunds will be accepted but if you are unable to make it, we will allow your spot to be transferred to someone else with 48 hrs notice. Thank you for your understanding.

Instructor Bio:

We are Beth & Geanine, 2 friends in the Colorado Springs area with a shared love of all things houseplants! What started out as a hobby turned into the desire to help others achieve their own houseplant jungle dreams and Potted was created. We offer plant consulting, sitting, classes and care services in the Colorado Springs area.
