Bison Adventure and Living History

Monday, May 27, 2019, 12:00 AM - 3:30 AM

Join us for a one-of-a-kind Bison Adventure! You'll be transported to the 1800s when buffalo were on the brink of extinction and settlers were pouring into areas west of the Mississippi.
Relive the drama of the wild American west with world-renowned Lakota Sioux native dancers, Team Bearsheart. You'll be drawn in as you watch these award winning dancers and listen to stories about the role buffalo played in native culture.
You're sure to be enthralled as history reenactor, Kurt Skinner, plays Teddy Roosevelt on a western excursion detailing his role in developing our National Parks and saving buffalo and many other wildlife from extinction.
Learn how an unlikely alliance of Native Americans, Mexicans and white ranchers worked together to save the American buffalo from extinction.
Experience the wonder of our bison up-close with feeding and hay wagon tours.
Enjoy live music during a catered barbecue meal. VIP ticket holders get to sit at a table with our talented performers during dinner.
The evening will close with a toast honoring those who played a key role in preserving the monarch of the plains - the American buffalo.
Please note: Bella Vista Bison is a private farm, not a commercial property. Due to the rural landscape and nature of our operation, we cannot accommodate persons who are unable to walk without assistance.
Tickets are limited and must be purchased in advance
